| Summary:
Recent experiments have elucidated that novel nonequilibrium states
consistent with the hydrodynamic description of electrons are realized in
graphene, which hosts the valley degrees of freedom (DOF) at the corners of the
Brillouin zone. Here, we formulate a theory of electron hydrodynamics with the
valley DOF for noncentrosymmetric graphene and find that the effective theory
has a close analogy with micropolar fluids. Our theory reveals nonlinear valley
dynamics including a longitudinal valley current and a circular dichroic valley
polarization induced by off-resonant light.
